A Message from our VP at Glorious: Improved European Shipping

As gamers, we all know that one of the best things about gaming is how you can disconnect from the real world, and get lost in another universe. But you know what else is so great about it? How it connects you with other gamers. Whether it’s a quick round of CS:GO with old buddies from your hometown or a Valorant all-nighter with virtual friends across the globe, gaming keeps us connected with others no matter where we are. It's a hobby that knows no boundaries. 

When we started out in 2014, back when we only sold mousepads, we only dreamt of how much we’d grow as a brand. As we’ve expanded in scale and in reach, we’re here to help gamers stay connected through the games they love and the community they belong to. That’s why we’re very excited to announce some big improvements in our global offerings for our European friends.

As of July 23, 2024, we opened our new fulfillment center in Bremen, Germany. So, what does that mean for Glorious fans in Europe?

Let’s break down each of these new perks.

Faster Shipping Times

For Germany and neighboring countries, shipping now takes just 2 days. That’s a huge cut down from the 7 to 10 days it used to take when orders were only fulfilled from the US. For other European countries, you can expect an average of 3-day shipping. Now you can get your gear faster and start gaming in no time!

Lower Shipping Cost

Orders over €49.99 now get FREE shipping! For orders under that amount, shipping costs have been greatly reduced. Because we’re now fulfilling orders from within Europe, you won’t have to pay DDP import taxes anymore. For example, shipping to Germany used to cost €22 for some orders. Now, those same orders will only pay €7 for shipping. That’s more money in your pocket and less time waiting for your gear!

Pay in Your Currency 

We know currency exchange fees are a pain, so now you don’t have to worry about them. Whether you’re paying in euros, pounds, krona, or beyond, you’ll see exactly what you’re paying in your own currency. No need for conversions or hidden fees, just an easy checkout and peace of mind. Plus, soon we’ll have more local payment options for an even faster checkout experience. Stay tuned for that! 

More Gear in Your Language

Our focus on connecting with our fans across continents extends to our product roadmap, too. When it comes to our keyboards and keycaps, we’re working on providing different language options on our ISO boards. Currently, many of our GPBT keycap sets support UK English, Spanish, German, Nordic languages— with more to come!
