Best STALKER 2 Weapons and Where to Find Them

We’ve been spending our time playing a bunch of recent game releases, but none have stood out quite like S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl.

With that in mind, and to aid you on your journey through The Zone, we've put together a guide to some of the best weapons available, along with the locations where you can find them.

M701 Super

First up, we have the M701 Super, one of the most powerful sniper rifles in the game.

If you're looking to dominate in long-range combat, this is your go-to weapon, providing a one-shot kill in most situations.

While its smaller magazine size and loudness might be drawbacks, its high penetration makes it a versatile and reliable option. In its upgraded form, the M701 Super remains an excellent choice for sustained effectiveness throughout the entirety of your journey.

Kharod

Among the solid assault rifle options, the Kharod stands out as one of the most reliable choices.

With great damage and some of the best armor-piercing stats, it's a beast in any engagement. Attach a 4x optic to it for a little extra range, and you've got yourself an accurate AR with a very respectable rate of fire.

You can buy the Kharod from the Wreck, the trader at the Yaniv Station base.

Ram-2

For close-quarter combat, the Ram-2 shotgun is the ideal choice.

Despite its design, it boasts impressive range and a surprisingly fast rate of fire. While the long reload times and inability to reload while sprinting can be a hassle, its raw power more than makes up for these drawbacks.

The Ram-2 is also among the very best for dispatching Mutants, thanks to its high damage and penetration potential. It’s available from the same trader as the Kharod assault rifle, at the Yaniv Station base.
