Split Fiction

First on our list is the latest title from Hazelight, the developers behind A Way Out and It Takes Two.

Staying true to their signature style, their new game Split Fiction will emphasize split-screen cooperative gameplay, where players must team up locally or online to navigate through the game’s challenges.

Split Fiction’s narrative follows two authors, Zoe and Mio, who find themselves trapped within their own creations. As they work together to escape, their journey is filled with both danger and excitement, with each character having unique abilities, enabling players to tackle challenges and defeat enemies in creative ways, with a strong emphasis on collaboration and teamwork.

Split Fiction will be available to play on March 6.

Rise of the Ronin

For the next entry in our list, we travel to mid-19th century Japan in Rise of the Ronin.

This action RPG, a spiritual successor to the Nioh series, follows the Blade Twins, who join the Veiled Edge resistance after their family is murdered by the Shogunate’s agents. As the story unfolds, players will experience the events leading up to the Boshin War, filled with intense combat and dramatic moments.

Rise of the Ronin allows players to create a custom character, featuring combat with iconic weapons from the period, such as katanas and firearms. Player choices deeply influence the story and interactions with NPCs, allowing for a branching narrative that impacts the unfolding events. The game features an open-world design, with historical cities and scenic countryside to explore, and multiple traversal options, including horses and gliders, to navigate the vast and immersive world.

After an early release on consoles, Rise of the Ronin will be making its way to PC on March 11.

Wreckfest 2

Are you up for a bit of fun destruction?

The Wreckfest franchise is getting a sequel, and Wreckfest 2 looks to improve upon its 2018 predecessor. For those unfamiliar, Wreckfest is a racing game where demolition and destruction take center stage.

Wreckfest 2 will expand on the original with extensive vehicle customization options, offering both single-player and multiplayer modes, with the goal of enhancing the chaotic, fun racing experience that made the first title a fan favorite.

Wreckfest 2 enters its early access phase on March 20.
